After lunch we split into two groups to go to the Viking centre and the DIG. The children were able to be real archeologists, excavating, sorting and discussing a variety of real artefacts from the past including bone, pottery and even FOSSILISED POO! At the Jorvik centre, we learned all about what the Vikings first did when they came to Britain, as well as going on the ride around a viking street, experienceing the sights, sounds and SMELLS!

Did you know that Vikings loved Oysters and would eat up to 5 a day? At the coppergate dig in York, they found 750,000 Oyster shells in the houses of just 4 families!

Time for another delicious meal now!

Hello Brennan,
Still missing you but daddy was happy that he got to take your portion of sausage plait that Nevan made at cooking club for his lunch tomorrow, you know how much he loves that...almost as much as he loves you. Have you figured it out yet? If not here's clue number 3) All you can eat breakfast, delicious pretzel rolls and gummies.
Sweet Dreams, Love all of us
