What is our approach to teaching Geography?

We follow the National Curriculum. Each unit of work is taught discreetly. However, links to other areas of the curriculum may be used when appropriate. Our teaching of Geography is progressive, with the use of key concepts that progress year on year.

How often is the subject taught in each class?

Geography is taught in alternate terms to History. In the terms where Geography is being taught, it is taught at least once per week.

Who is responsible for teaching the subject?

The class teacher.
