Key Stage 2 - July 2017

Our first set of Key Stage 2 Performance Data is now available. We have recently become a full primary school and our firsy class of Year 6 children completed their end of key stage 2 assessments with us in July 2017. Our results are as follows: 

Average Progress Scores:

Reading: +1.65

Writing: +1.29

Mathematics: +1.88

This means that our children make better progress than those children natioanlly with similar starting points. 

Average Scaled Scores

At the end of Year 6, children sit their SATs tests which give a raw score. This is converted into a scaled score where 100 marks the 'expected standard'. Our average scaled scores for our 2016 cohort of Year 6 children were:

Reading: 105.2

Maths: 104.5

Achieving the expected standard 

The national benchmark for the percentage of children reaching the expected standard in reading, writing and maths in 2017 was 61%

Our school achieved 60%

Achieving a high level of attainment 

The national benchmark for the percentage of children surpassing the expected standard in reading, writing and maths in 2017 was 9%

Our school achieved 20%
