Admission arrangements for our school are handled through the Local Authority. Our Admissions Policy for the academic years of 2018-2019 and 2019-2020 was set by our Local Authority. Further information on the application process can be found by following this weblink.
In February 2019, our school became an academy with Peterborough Diocese Education Trust and our policy for the academic year 2020-2021 reflects our admission criteria and process as an academy. You can find this policy in the side panel of this page.

Looking for a Reception Class for September 2021?
The County Council application process for the new Reception children in September 2020 will open in early September and will remain open until 15th January 2021. If you are considering the right school for your child for September and would like to know more, please come and visit us and see our school in action. Contact our school office and we will be happy to arrange a tour for you with our Headteacher.
Oversubscription admission criteria (Academic Years 2020-21 and 2021-22)
Places will be allocated to pupils who have an Education, Health and Care (EHC) Plan that names the school as appropriate provision. When there are more applications for places than there are places available, priority will be given in the following order:
I. Children in public care or previously in public care but immediately after being looked after became subject to an adoption, child arrangements order or special guardianship order.
II. Pupils who live in the linked area (Achurch, Aldwincle, Islip, Lilford-cumWigthorpe, Lowick, Pilton, Sudborough, Thorpe Waterville and Wadenhoe)
III. Pupils with a brother or sister continuing at the school at the time of admission of the child.
IV. Other pupils.
If the admission number is exceeded within any criterion priority will be given to those who live closest to the school.
How to appeal for a place at our school
If you have applied and been refused a place at our school (in any year group), you are entitled to appeal against that decision.
Appeals for PDET academies are administered by The Diocese of Peterborough Education team. For more information on the process please see: https://www.peterborough-diocese.org.uk/parents/appeals
If you wish to appeal please contact the Appeals Administrator and ask for an appeals pack. Contact Alex Benoy at email@example.com.
The pack includes some explanatory notes about the process of Admission Appeals and a Notice of Appeal form that, should you decide to proceed with an appeal, will need to be completed and returned by email if possible, but if not, to the Diocesan Office instead.
Timetable for appeals – September 2021 applications
Following the National Offer Day on 16 April 2021, the deadline for lodging an on-time appeal is 9:00am on 21 May 2021.
Proposed appeal hearing dates are during the weeks commencing 21 June and 28 June 2021.
Decision letters will be sent within five working days of the appeal hearing, subject to any unforeseen circumstances.
